Ingredients Serving: 5
For dough- Rava 1/2 cup
Water 1 cup
Oil 2 tsp
Salt 1/2tsp
For stuffing- chopped onion 2 big size
Boiled and mashed potatoes 1 medion size
Green peas 1 tbsp
Chopped Green Chillies 2
Chopped garlic cloves 4
Musturd seeds 1/4 tsp
Red chilli powder 1/4 tsp
Dry coriander powder 1 tsp
Salt to taste
For tempering - oil 1 tbsp
musturd seeds 1 tsp
Asafoetida 1 pinch
few curry leaves
5 - 6 green chillies chopped from middle
Instructions
Take a kadhai add water and boil it
Add rava ,oil and salt
Mix it on medium flame regularly till it became dry as a dough
Kneed a soft dough
Keep it aside
Again in kadhai heat oil add musturd seeds , green chillies,garlic cloves,onion
Fry it till golden colour
Add green peas,red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt
Cover it for 2 minutes
Add mashed potatoes
Mix it well
Off the flame
Make small balls from rava dough
Make it in katori shape with your hands and fill a small quantity of onion mixture in it
Sealed it in ball shape
Now take a big pan and heat 2 litre of water in it
When it started boiling take a plate with holes and grease it
Cover the pan with this plate
Add the balls into it
Cover it
Steamed it for 10 minutes
After 10 minutes it is ready for tempering
For tempering heat oil in kadhai,add musturd seeds, asafoetida, green chillies and curry leaves
Add steamed balls into it and mix it
Off the flame and serve hot with curry or sauce
