ABOUT Mango Semolina Cake RECIPE

This is a very easy cake that kids and everyone would relish.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 1 cup Semolina
  2. 1/ 2 cup All purpose flour
  3. 1 cup Mango pulp
  4. 1/4 cup Oil
  5. 1/2 cup Sugar
  6. 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  7. 1/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
  8. 1/2 teaspoon Cardamom powder
  9. 1/4 cup chopped nuts for garnish

Instructions

  1. Sieve all purpose flour, baking powder and baking soda twice.
  2. In another bowl mix semolina, mango pulp, oil, cardamom powder and sugar and mix well. Allow semolina to soak mango pulp for 10 - 15 minutes.
  3. Add flour mixture to soaked semolina and mix well by cut and fold method.
  4. Pour mixture in greased baking tin.
  5. Garnish with chopped nuts.
  6. Bake in preheated oven at 160 for 30 minutes.
  7. After baking allow it to cool on wire rack for 10 minutes.
