Ingredients to make Veg cutlets

  • Boiled potatoes 2
  • Boiled beans 6-7 strips
  • carrot medium size 1
  • capsicum medium size 1
  • Grated ginger 1 tsp
  • Crushed beetroot
  • green chillies 4-5
  • coriander leaves
  • Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • Chat masala
  • Chevda (pohe) 1 cup
  • Bread crums / cornflour 1 tbsp
  • water 1 cup
  • oil to fry

How to make Veg cutlets

  1. Mash the boiled potatoes.
  2. Half Boil all the veggies ie. Beans, carrot, capsicum & add salt.
  3. Drain them and heat the tawa put 1spoon oil and saute them for a while.
  4. Now soak the chevda in water, strain and grind.
  5. Take a bowl add boiled mashed potatoes, veggies Garam masala,crushed beetroot, salt, black pepper, green chillies, chat masala ginger, Coriander leaves, grinded chevda and mix well.
  6. Make round cutlet shape and Sprinkle Cornflour in it or dip the cutlets in the Cornflour powder. Heat the oil in a pan and deep fry the cutlets in high flame.
  7. Serve them hot super crisp cutlets with sauces and chutneys.

My Tip:

Must add chevda for crispness. And should be deep fry on high medium.
