Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Chana Daal 1/2 cup
  2. Capsicum 1 small chopped
  3. Tomato 1 small chopped
  4. coriander leaves chopped
  5. Coconut grated 1 tbsp
  6. Lime juice 2 tsp
  7. Blacl salt as per taste
  8. Oil for Tadka
  9. Mustard seed 1/2 tsp


  1. Soak the dal in warm water for an hour or two
  2. Drain the dal and keep in a bowl
  3. Combine all ingredient except oil and mustard seed.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Heat oil in pan and add mustard seeds.
  6. Pour the tadka over the salad
  7. In a serving bowl make a bed of salad leaves or lettuce. Put the chana dal salad over it
  8. Garnish with grated coconut and serve.
