Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Bengal gram/chana dal - 1 cup
  2. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  3. Salt - to taste
  4. Finely chopped onion - 1
  5. Finely chopped onion - 1
  6. Grated ginger - 1/2 tsp
  7. Finely chopped coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
  8. Finely chopped green chilly - 1/4 tsp
  9. Finely chopped tomato - 1
  10. Oil - 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Boil chana dal with salt and turmeric powder and three cup of water in a pressure cooker
  2. Heat oil in a pan.
  3. Add onion ginger and tomato and saute for 2 - 3 mins.
  4. Add green chilly and coriander leaves and mix well.
  5. Add boiled chana dal and cook for five mins.
  6. Add garam masala powder and turn off the flame.
