ABOUT Khasta kachori RECIPE

Kachoris are perfect breakfast in north India and best served with potato curry.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For dough
  2. 2 cup APF..Maida
  3. 1/3 cup Oil
  4. 1 tsp Salt
  5. A pinch of baking soda
  6. For stuffing
  7. 3/4 cup urad dal...split and husked black lentils
  8. 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
  9. 1/2 tsp fennel seeds powder
  10. 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  11. 1/2 tsp ginger powder
  12. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  13. 1/2 tsp dry mango powder
  14. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak urad dal for 2 hours and grind coarsely
  2. Now make a dough with chilled water. Knead the dough and keep aside for 30 Minutes...
  3. Now make stuffing ...Take 1 tbsp oil in wok..
  4. Add all spices...Roast a little...
  5. Add ground dal and salt...Roast till dal till it completely dries up. Cool the stuffing
  6. Now make a roll from dough...Put stuffing in center...Close and make kachoris with hand...
  7. Now deep fry at low flame...Wait till it becomes golden brown..It will take around 10 minutes..
  8. Your Yummy khasta kachoris r ready...Serve with Aaloo ki subzi and chutney....
