Dahi vada also know as dahi bhalle, is a famous Indian chaat, where in the crispy vadas are dunked in sweet yoghurt , topped with chutneys and served .

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 2-cup urad dal
  2. 1-cup yellow mong dal
  3. Salt
  4. sweet curd 1 1/2 litre
  5. sugar 1-cup
  6. Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
  7. Cumin seeds -1 tsp
  8. green chili , ginger paste -2 tsp
  9. coriander powder-2 spoon
  10. red chili powder-2spoon
  11. black paper-2spoon
  12. Rosted jeera powder-2 spoon
  13. Salt

Instructions

  1. Take first one bowl add urad dal and mong dal ,soak 4,5 hours
  2. Add than blend in mixture add green chili and ginger
  3. Add salt, fennel seeds , jeera mix well(blending time not add to much water better we need thicker)
  4. mix well take one pan add oil and fry vadas round shapes
  5. Remove and add in water afer 5 minutes remove and again add in the water
  6. Now prepare sweet curd take one bowl add curd and sugar mix well
  7. All water remove and take dry vada add in the sweet curd
  8. All vadas are ready to sock curd
  9. take one serving bowl take vada add sweet curd ,salt, green chatni, coriander powder, rosted jeera powder, chat masala , black paper and serve
