ABOUT Bhakhri Pizza RECIPE

This is very healthy and unique recipe of pizza as it's made by using bhakhri as a base of pizza and completely healthy as bhakhris are made of whole wheat flour.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. To make bhakhri:
  2. 1 cup whole wheat flour
  3. 1/4 cup Semolina
  4. 1 tbsp oil
  5. 1 tsp Salt
  6. 1 cup milk to make tight dough
  7. Ghee to apply on bhakhri
  8. Veggies/pizza toppings:
  9. 1 cup bell peppers
  10. 1 cup sweet corn
  11. Cheese of your choice
  12. Oregano, chilli flakes and pizza sauce


  1. To make bhakhri dough:
  2. First add all the ingredients into medium sized bowl and mix it well.
  3. Add milk slowly and make very right dough.
  4. Now divide the dough into medium sized equal portions and roll it out.
  5. Now cook the bhakhri on medium to high flame on tava and apply the ghee on it.
  6. Prepare other bhakhris in same way.
  7. Now for pizza preparation, apply pizza sauce, add all the toppings and cheese on top and cook it on tava with putting lid until cheese gets melted.
  8. Your pizza is ready to eat, sprinkle oregano and chilli flakes and serve hot!
