Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 cup Chana dal
  2. 1/2 cup Urad dal
  3. 1/2 cup Moong Dal
  4. 2-3 tsp toor dal
  5. 1/2 cup simple raw rice
  6. 1/2 idli rice
  7. 4-5 dry red chillies
  8. 1/2 tsp fennel seeds
  9. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  10. 1 cup chopped onion
  11. 2-3 tsp fresh coriander chopped
  12. 12-15 curry leaves chopped
  13. 12-15 drumstick leaves chopped
  14. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  15. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  16. 2 pinch of Asafoetida
  17. 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  18. Salt to taste
  19. oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Wash all dal nicely add dry red chillies,cumin and fennel seeds in it and soak it for atleast 4-5 hours.
  2. In other separate bowl take raw and idli rice washed and soaked it also atleast 4-5 hours.
  3. After 5 hours drain out all water from soaked dal and rice and take small,small amount of dal and rice in mixer jar and make coarsely paste of it.dry red chillies,cumin and fennel seeds also grind with dal and rice.
  4. Make coarsely paste of all dal and rice and now transfer it in big bowl to mix another ingridients.
  5. Now add chopped onion,coriander,curry and drumstick leaves in it and mix,
  6. Now add red chilli,turmeric,asafoetida powder,ginger garlic paste,salt and mix well.
  7. When all done take a tawa grease it with oil. drop the spoonful batter of dal and rice and spread carefully like dosa.
  8. Take rest for 2 min or till one side cook nicely flip it to cook other side.
  9. When both side done serve it hot with coconut and roasted chickpea chutney.
