Chicken Vegetable Soup

Ingredients to make Chicken Vegetable Soup

  • chicken- 250 gm breast piece
  • ginger- 2 inch piece
  • garlic- 6 to 7 cloves
  • Black pepper corns- 6 to 7
  • cinnamon stick- 1 inch piece
  • Black cardamom- 2
  • salt- to taste
  • water- as per need (prob.3 to 4 glass or more)
  • Veggies:
  • peas- 200 gm
  • green chilly- 4 to 5 finely chopped
  • Soya sauce- 1/2 tsp
  • cabbage- 1 cup finely chopped
  • tomatoes- 2 chopped
  • vinegar- 1 tbsp
  • green chilly sauce- 1 tbsp
  • salt- if needed
  • Oats- for thickness (dissolved in water)
  • oil- 3 to 4 tbsp

How to make Chicken Vegetable Soup

  1. In an open vessel add chicken breast, ginger,garlic in hot boiling water.
  2. Add in cinnamon stick, black pepper corns, salt & black cardamom. Cook till the chicken is tender.
  3. Now add in oil, peas and chopped green chillies.
  4. Let the peas soften.
  5. Then add tomatoes & cabbage in it & take out chicken.
  6. Shred the chicken breast.
  7. When the cabbage & tomatoes are soften then add shredded chicken, salt if needed, vinegar, soya sauce, green chilly sauce. Mix it well.
  8. Now add oats to make it little bit thicken.
  9. Check the consistency as per your choice.
  10. Take them out in a serving bowl and serve hot.

My Tip:

You can use corn flour too.
