ABOUT Chicken Vegetable Soup RECIPE

Quick, healthy & tasty too.. Those who want to be fit and on a healthy diet can use this soup as a brunch or breakfast... As I prefer to do so... I am using oats powder instead of corn flour for health concern..

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chicken- 250 gm breast piece
  2. Ginger- 2 inch piece
  3. Garlic- 6 to 7 cloves
  4. Black pepper corns- 6 to 7
  5. Cinnamon stick- 1 inch piece
  6. Black cardamom- 2
  7. Salt- to taste
  8. Water- as per need (prob.3 to 4 glass or more)
  9. Veggies:
  10. Peas- 200 gm
  11. Green chilly- 4 to 5 finely chopped
  12. Soya sauce- 1/2 tsp
  13. Cabbage- 1 cup finely chopped
  14. Tomatoes- 2 chopped
  15. Vinegar- 1 tbsp
  16. Green chilly sauce- 1 tbsp
  17. Salt- if needed
  18. Oats- for thickness (dissolved in water)
  19. Oil- 3 to 4 tbsp

Instructions

  1. In an open vessel add chicken breast, ginger,garlic in hot boiling water.
  2. Add in cinnamon stick, black pepper corns, salt & black cardamom. Cook till the chicken is tender.
  3. Now add in oil, peas and chopped green chillies.
  4. Let the peas soften.
  5. Then add tomatoes & cabbage in it & take out chicken.
  6. Shred the chicken breast.
  7. When the cabbage & tomatoes are soften then add shredded chicken, salt if needed, vinegar, soya sauce, green chilly sauce. Mix it well.
  8. Now add oats to make it little bit thicken.
  9. Check the consistency as per your choice.
  10. Take them out in a serving bowl and serve hot.
