ABOUT Puffed Rice Pops RECIPE

Pops or laddus are made from puffed rice. Mixed with dry fruit mixture, condensed milk. Cardamom powder is being added to give nice aroma. Very easy, tasty and healthy recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Puffed rice – ½ cup
  2. Sweetened Condensed milk -1/4th cup
  3. Puffed rice powder – 1/4th cup + ½ cup for rolling
  4. Dry fruits – 2 tbsp – Almonds, Raisins, Dry Dates
  5. Cardamom powder – ½ tsp
  6. Toothpicks or lollipop sticks – 8-9 nos or as required

Instructions

  1. Blend dry fruits in a blender. In a bowl mix all dry ingredients.
  2. Add condensed milk slowly at a time until well combined.
  3. Mixture should form balls.
  4. In another bowl or plate take puffed rice powder for rolling the pops or laddu.
  5. Make small balls about 1 ½ inch out of puffed rice mixture.
  6. Roll them gently in puffed rice powder and coat from all the sides. Repeat the process with remaining balls
  7. Take toothpicks or lollipop sticks. Insert the stick into each ball
  8. Serve immediately or store them into air tight container. Consume within 2-3 days.
