Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 2 cups besan ( chickpea flour)
  2. 1/2 cup ghee ( clarified butter),add more ghee if required
  3. 1 cup powdered sugar
  4. 5-6 cardamoms, powdered
  5. 1 - 2 tbsp cashew nuts
  6. 1-2 tbsp golden raisins


  1. Dry roast the besan in a pan for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Continue roasting and keep stirring so that the besan is uniformly roasted.
  3. Add ghee to the roasted besan and mix well. Continue stirring and roasting the besan for 5 mins. You will get the nutty smell of the roasted besan.
  4. When you get the nutty smell of the roasted besan, ghee starts leaving the edges, switch off the gas.
  5. Add the powdered sugar and cardamom to the besan mixture. Mix well.
  6. Mix well till you get a uniform mixture. Let it cool down a bit to form balls.
  7. Once it the mixture has cooled down, make small balls of Laddoo. Garnish with almond silvers and kesar
