Chicken Candy

Ingredients to make Chicken Candy

  • Boneless chicken 250 grams
  • Green peas 1/4 cup
  • onion 1
  • green chillies 2 or 3 less spicy
  • Dry coriander powder 2 teaspoon
  • cumin seeds powder 1 teaspoon
  • Chat masala 1 Teaspoon
  • Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • chilli powder 2 tablespoon
  • Chickpeas powder (besan) 1 tablespoon
  • 1/4 teaspoon asafoetida
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • Rice flour 1 small cup
  • lemon juice 1 teaspoon
  • salt as per taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves handful
  • 1 bread slice
  • oil 1 cup
  • 3 Icecream Sticks

How to make Chicken Candy

  1. Ingredients
  2. First grate onion and keep aside.
  3. Wash chicken thoroughly, and chopped it. Add this Chicken pieces in Blender and puree it
  4. Now heat a vessel add in oil, add Asafoetida, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, and grated onions, salt cook till light brown.
  5. Add in ginger garlic paste and saute for a min.
  6. Add in all spice powders and besan, 1 teaspoon rice powder, mix well.
  7. Now add Chicken mince and green peas mix well.
  8. Add lemon juice. Mix well.
  9. Cook this mixture for 5 minutes.
  10. Add coriander and mix well.
  11. Add in bread slice and mix well.
  12. Now switched off the gas.
  13. Wet your hands, take small portion from the mix and shape into balls or log and insert icecream stick into kabab
  14. Roll this kabab into rice powder.
  15. Heat oil for shallow frying. Fry it, till golden brown colour.
  16. Flip it and fry other side of kabab
  17. Drain it on tissue paper and serve hot with cheese dip and salad.
  18. Garnish with grated cheese, chopped green chillies.
  19. Your Chicken Candy is ready.

My Tip:

You can keep cooked mixture in deep fridger. Whenever there is a party you can remove the mixture and fry it.
