ABOUT Crispy Masala Egg Puff Without Oven RECIPE

Delicious and very easy snack time recipe, which can be made without using oven.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. All purpose flour - 1 cup
  2. Boiled eggs - 3
  3. Onion [chopped] - 1
  4. chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  5. Coriander Powder - 1/2 tsp
  6. Chopped garlic and ginger - 1 tbsp
  7. Tomatoes [chopped] - 1
  8. Garam masala powder - 1/4 th tsp
  9. butter - 1/4 th cup [softened]
  10. salt
  11. oil

Instructions

  1. Knead a soft dough using the maida, little oil, salt and water. Leave it to rest for few minutes.
  2. Now heat a pan with some oil. Add the chopped ginger, garlic. and once they smell, add the chopped onions.
  3. Saute until golden brown, then add the chopped tomatoes, followed by the powdered masalas, salt . Cook until the masala is cooked and dry enough, let this get cooled enough.
  4. Now roll the dough into big roundel, apply the softened butter all over and fold to seal, roll this chapathi again and fold. repeat this procedure for 3 times.
  5. Now cut this dough into 6 parts, roll each part, place the cooked masala, then half of the boiled egg, bring the ends of the dough to seal.
  6. Now cook this on a pan with very little oil, until the pattice puffs up and colored, serve hot.
