This is my mom's recipe and now I make this for my family and thy totally love it.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 250 gram Bhindi
  2. 1 medium chopped onion
  3. 1/2 cup black gram(chana)5-6 hower soked
  4. 2chopped green chilli
  5. 1/2 tea spoon turmeric powder
  6. 1 teaspoon sabji masala
  7. 1 tablespoons oil
  8. Salt to taste


  1. Firstly, washed and wipe the bhindi
  2. Chop the bhindi into small pieces.
  3. Heat oil in a kadhai
  4. Add panch foran, and add green chilli, stir few seconds.
  5. Add chopped onion and saute, now add chopped chopped bhindi and stir occasionally
  6. Do not cover the kadhai otherwise the bhindi might turn soggy.
  7. After 5 minutes ,lower the flame and cook for few minutes.
  8. Now add black gram and stir .
  9. Add turmeric powder,sabji masala and salt,stir and saute few minutes
  10. Now cover tha kadhai 2-3 minutes
  11. Open the lid and stir, switch off the flame.
  12. Crispi bhindi chana is ready
  13. Serve with rice, dal or roti .
