This is a recipe I had in my relatives house, its a good snack , specially in rainy days and winter evenings with coffee/tea... i had given a twist. Usually some people do not like vindi, hope they can try. Its tangy and crispy..

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Bhindi/ lady's finger 300 grams slit
  2. Besan 6 table spoon
  3. Cornflour 2 tablespoon
  4. Rice coarsely grounded 2 tablespoon
  5. Green and red chilli as per taste
  6. Ajwain or carrom seeds 1 teaspoon
  7. Jeera/cumin powder 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Aam chur 1 teaspoon
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Refined oil for deep Frying
  11. Water slight to bind the veggies

Instructions

  1. Cut the bhindies in thin slits.
  2. Add gram flour/besan, corn flour, rice flour for batter.
  3. Add little water.
  4. Add the spices, chillies, salt, amchur one after another.
  5. Add the bhindi.
  6. Heat oil in a wok.
  7. Deep fry like pakora.
  8. Absorb excess oil, serve by sprinkling chaat masala with hot coffee/ tea.
