Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For the batter
  2. Refined flour 1cup
  3. Cornflour 3tbsp
  4.  ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  5.  black pepper powder ½ tsp
  6.  soya sauce 1 tsp
  7.  Water ¾ cup
  8. salt & sugar as required
  9. For the Manchurian
  10. button mushrooms 250 gms
  11. 4 Spring onions finely chopped - reserve the greens for garnish
  12. 3 Green chilies finely chopped
  13.  garlic finely chopped 2 tsp
  14.  ginger finely chopped 2 tsp
  15. black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  16. soya sauce 1tbsp
  17. 1 medium size capsicum chopped
  18. Salt as required

Instructions

  1. Wash, wipe and slice the mushrooms into halves, mix everything for the batter.
  2. Heat oil i a frying pan, dip the mushroom in the batter & fry them till golden brown. Keep them aside in a separate plate.
  3. Heat oil. add the spring onion whites and stir fry them for a minute on a medium flame.
  4. now add the green chili, ginger, garlic and some of the spring onion greens.
  5. stir fry these also for a minute on a medium flame
  6. add the black pepper, salt, sugar and soya sauce.
  7. serve mushroom manchurian hot garnished with chopped spring onion greens and celery.
