Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Bottle gourd - 250 gms
  2. Potato - 2
  3. Sliced onion - 1
  4. Whole garam masala - 1 tsp
  5. Whole red chilly - 2
  6. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  7. Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  8. Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
  9. Salt - to taste
  10. Chopped garlic cloves - 1/2 tsp
  11. Chopped ginger - 1/2 tsp
  12. Chopped tomato - 1
  13. Oil - 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the bottle gourd and potatoes.
  2. Cut into big pieces
  3. Heat oil in a pressure cooker..
  4. Add cumin seeds and whole garam masala,whole red chilly to crackle.
  5. Add sliced onion n fry till light brown.
  6. Add ginger garlic pieces n saute.
  7. Add coriander powder,turmeric powder and salt and also add 2 tbsp water n saute for two mins.
  8. Add chopped tomato and mix well
  9. Add chopped bottle gourd and potato and saute for one mins.
  10. Close the lid of the pressure cooker.
  11. When cooker release the whistle simmer the gas for five mins.
  12. Garnish with coriander leaves.
