ABOUT Egg green peas kurma RECIPE

A blend of Indian spices with coconut and khus khus for a perfect kurma curry with green peas and eggs.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Eggs - 8 boiled
  2. Green peas - 1/2 cup
  3. Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
  4. For the Masala Paste :
  5. Onions - 2 medium
  6. Green Chillies - 2
  7. Red Chillies - 2
  8. Whole garam masala - 2 each
  9. (cardamom, cinnamon sticks, pepper, cloves)
  10. Coconut desiccated /fresh - 3 tbsp
  11. Khus khus - 2 tbsp
  12. Garlic - 1 pod
  13. Ginger - 1 inch
  14. Oil required
  15. Water - 4 cups
  16. Salt to taste
  17. Bay leaves - few
  18. Star ainse - 1

Instructions

  1. Take a sauce pan and add 3 tbsp oil
  2. Add bay leaves and star ainse to the hot oil
  3. Add the masala paste and stir fry on high for 2 minutes.
  4. Add the green peas
  5. Cook on medium covered for 5 minutes.
  6. Make cuts on boiled eggs and add to the fried paste
  7. Add the water, salt and turmeric. Cover and cook on low flame for 10 minutes.
