ABOUT Eggless jowar choclate cake RECIPE

This is a glutenfree cake made from sorghum flour or jowar flour and frosted with choclate ganache.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Jowar flour-1 cup
  2. Powdered Sugar-1 cup
  3. Butter-4 tbsp
  4. Cocoa powder-3 tbsp
  5. Baking powder-1 tsp
  6. Fresh Curd-1/2 cup
  7. Milk-1/2 cup
  8. Vanilla essence-8 to 10 drops
  9. For ganache:
  10. Dark choclate-1/2 cup
  11. Cream-1/2 cup
  12. Sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients first.
  2. Sieve flour,cocoa powder and baking powder.
  3. Add the wet ingredients like milk,curd,melted butter,vanilla essence and whisk.
  4. Add powdered sugar also to this and mix .
  5. Add the sieved mix to this and fold and mix with spatula.Add 2 tbspoon water to adjust the consistency.
  6. Our batter should be of dropping consistency.
  7. Pour the batter in a greased mould.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 35 minutes.Check whether it is cooked with a toothpick.
  9. Let the cake cool down and then unmould it.
  10. Prepare ganache by melting cream in microwave for 30 seconds and adding chopped choclate to it.Stir to get nice ganache.
  11. Now pour this over the whole cake and sprinkle some coloured sprinkles or you can just leave it as it is.
  12. Cut and enjoy the yummy cake.
