Kachori is usually a round flattened ball made of maida filled with different stuffings(i.e.moong dal,besan etc.) Poha kachori in airfryer is the guilt free way of snacking on this flaky crispy pastry filled with peanuts.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Ingredients for kachori :
  2. Soaked and drained poha 1cup
  3. Brown bread 4 pieces
  4. Boiled small potato 1 No.
  5. Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Lemon juice 1tbsp
  8. Ingredients for stuffing:
  9. Roasted peanuts 1/2 cup
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Green chilli chopped 1 No.
  12. Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  13. Lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Method for making outer covering:
  2. Wash poha in sufficient water and keep in colander to remove excess water.
  3. Trim the sides of bread and cut into small piece.
  4. In a bowl add poha, bread pieces,mashed potato,Black pepper and salt.
  5. Mix Well and Make a dough.
  6. Make sure all the ingredients mixed properly.
  7. Now add 1Tbsp lemon juice to the dough and mix well.
  8. Cover with kitchen towel and keep aside.
  9. Method for making stiffing:
  10. In a bowl add peanuts into it add green chilli,red chilli powder,Salt to taste and lemon juice.
  11. Mix everything nicely.
  12. Take a small ball from the dough and shape it into a katori .
  13. Add a small amount of stuffing in it,gather the edges and roll into ball and seal properly.
  14. Dampen your palms and flatten the kachoris in between them.
  15. Same way prepare rest of the kachoris.
  16. Preheat airfryer at 200*c for 5 minutes.
  17. Brush little oil on the kachoris and place in the airfryer basket.
  18. Cook for 15 minutes. Flip them in between for even cooking.
  19. Serve hot with any dip of your choice.
