ABOUT Nachos with homemade Salsa RECIPE

Nachos are mexican chips which served with salsa or dip.They are very healthy and tasty.Main ingredient for making Nachos is Maize flour(makki ka aata).

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Maize flour/ makki ka aata 1/2 cup
  2. Rice Flour 2tbsp
  3. Salt 1/2tsp
  4. Oregano 1/2tsp
  5. Chilli Flakes 1/2 tsp
  6. Oil 2tsp
  7. Water as needed
  8. Oil for frying
  9. FOR SALSA:
  10. Finely chopped Tomato 1
  11. Finely Chopped Onion 1
  12. Salt as per taste
  13. Lemon Juice 1/4 tsp
  14. Fresh Coarinder leaves fro garnishing.

Instructions

  1. In a bowl take all dry ingredients.To this add 2tsp oil.Mix well.Now add little little water and make sift dough.
  2. In a skillet take oil for frying.Heat the oil on low-medium flame.Oil should not be very hot.
  3. Now take small ball of dough and roll it as thin as possible.For easy rolling,take plastic sheet or ziplock bag cut it from sides.Place dough in between the two plastic layers and roll it.
  4. With the help of knife mark diagonal lines and cut it in the shape of diamond/triangle.
  5. Deep fry the chips on low flame till light golden.
  6. For salsa: Mix all ingredients.
  7. Serve Nachos with salsa.
