Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1/2 cup sabudana
  2. 2 cups water
  3. 2 cups milk
  4. 5 tbsp sugar
  5. 2 tsp cardamom powder
  6. 4 to 5 chopped almonds
  7. 5 to 6 raisins
  8. 5 to 6 saffron strands


  1. Rinse sabudana in water till comes out clear
  2. Take a pan in which there is to be cooked
  3. Pour sabudana with 2 cups of water in that pan
  4. Cover it and keep for 15-20 minutes for soaking
  5. Take 2 cups of warm milk boiling is not necessary
  6. Keep the pan on stove and start cooking on flame
  7. After 5 minutes add the warm milk to the pan and continue cooking
  8. Now add sugar and cardamon powder
  9. Cook for 20 minutes long on low.medium flame between stirring occasionally
  10. Off the flame. Add raisins
  11. Garnish with almonds and saffron strands
  12. Serve hot or cold as per your choice.
