Ingredients to make BAKED PUNJABI KULCHE

  • maida....1/2 kg
  • Fresh yeast...25 grams
  • oil....35 ml
  • salt...10 ml
  • water....200 ml
  • curd....125 grams
  • sugar...25 grams
  • Finely chopped coriander
  • Finely chopped green chilli

How to make BAKED PUNJABI KULCHE

  1. Take water, salt, curd, sugar and yeast. Mix till sugar dissolves.
  2. To it add oil and maida..
  3. Start kneading and make loose dough. Ten minutes of kneading is required to make proper dough.
  4. Apply oil to it and cover with moist cloth for 10 minutes.
  5. Now cut dough into 70 gm each and make proper balls. Any stuffing can be dine if desired.
  6. Again cover with moist cloth and keep for 10 minutes.
  7. Take a greased tray. Beat balls to remove trapped air. Place it on tray leaving distance between two.. Cover with dry cloth and keep for 10 minutes.
  8. Now by applying water press each ball.
  9. Top with coriander and chilli. Press it.
  10. Keep in warm place for 30 minutes.
  11. Preheat oven at 230 degree for 10 minutes.
  12. Sprinkle water and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  13. Yummy baked kulche are ready to serve.

My Tip:

Dough should not be hard.
