Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 250 gms arbi boiled at 6 whisles
  2. Oil for deep frying 1
  3. Salt to taste 1
  4. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  5. 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  6. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  7. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  8. About 1/2 tsp aamchur powder (compulsory for good chatpata taste)

Instructions

  1. Peel the arbi and cut into 2 halves
  2. Take the halves of the arbi and press between the palms
  3. Repeat 1 and 2 step with all remaining arbi
  4. Take kadai and heat oil for deep fry
  5. After oil gets heated put the arbis few at one time
  6. Turn them in between and fry till they become brownish red in colour as shown in the pic and take out in a dish
  7. Repeat step 5 and 6 for remaining arbi
  8. After all gets fried. Mix all masalas mentioned above in a small bowl and sprinkle than on arbi in both sides and mix well.
  9. Your yummy chatpata arbi cutlets are ready
  10. Serve hot with hot rotis or serve as starter alone.
