Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Masur dal 150gms
  2. Red chillies dry 4-5
  3. Black mustard seeds 1tbsp
  4. Green chillies 3-4
  5. Haldi powder 1/2 small tbsp
  6. Sugar
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Water as required

Instructions

  1. Put the dal with some water as required in a cooker
  2. Add some mustard oil in it
  3. Add little salt
  4. Add 3-4 green chillies cut into halves
  5. Pressure cook upto 1-2 whistle
  6. Wait for the cooker to open by itself
  7. Check the consistency of the dal..it should be little thick in consistency
  8. Add 1/4tbsp of sugar and salt as per your taste..
  9. Heat ghee in another pan
  10. Put some red chiilies and mustard seeds
  11. Let it cool down for 5 mins
  12. Add the dal.
  13. Stirr well
  14. Serve hot
