Banana flower is fiber rich veg and making Vada with this healthy one is good for health and yummy in taste.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Banana Flower small one
  2. Channa dal 1/4 Cup
  3. Fennel seeds 1tsp
  4. Green chilly 3
  5. Onion small one
  6. Coriander leaves 1/4 cup
  7. Curry leaves 1/4 cup
  8. Salt as needed
  9. Oil to fry

Instructions

  1. Take florets of the banana flower and then remove stamen(kallan) and outer cover of it.
  2. Cut and keep the florets in butter milk till use.
  3. Meanwhile soak Channa dal atleast 2hrs and then grind it coarsely
  4. In parallel cut onion green chilly and coriander curry leaves.
  5. After grinding Channa dal add banana flower florets and all other ingredients.
  6. Take a small ball size content and make as vada shape with hand.
  7. Fry in oil till gets golden colour. Now yummy vada is ready to serve with or without chutney
