Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Wheat flour 2cup
  2. Oil half cup
  3. salt as per taste
  4. Water as per needed
  5. Oil or ghee for fry
  6. for pooran
  7. 1 cup bengali gram split
  8. jaggery or sugar as per taste
  9. Cardmom powder 1tsp
  10. dryfruits as per need


  1. mix flour,salt,oil. mix and with water knead a stiff dough. keep aside for 10 minutes
  2. now take bengali gram, soak for 4 hour
  3. boil it without salt till soft
  4. now strain excess water if have
  5. take a pan add bengal gram stir continuously on medium flame till bit dry
  6. now add sugar or jeggary,cardmom. mix and make kind of dough.
  7. cool and mix dryfruit
  8. now take a small portion of dough, roll it like pooris, stuff with pooran, seal it.
  9. now take a pan. heat oil on low flame and place kachori. when kachori start float on oil, put the gas on medium and fry till golden crisp.
