ABOUT Broken wheat spicy dosa RECIPE

This is a delicious and nutritious dosa which could be had as a breakfast or a tea time snack. No fermentation required.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Broken wheat 2 cups
  2. Chilles 4
  3. Shallots 10 nos
  4. Curry leaves 3 sprigs
  5. Coriander leaves 5 sprigs
  6. Water required to grind
  7. Salt as required

Instructions

  1. Soak broken wheat for two hours
  2. After that grind it adding all the other ingredients.
  3. Prepare a coarse batter as thick as the idly dosa batter.
  4. Heat a tawa and grease it with oil.Pour a laddle full of batter. Drizzle some oil around it.Cook it on medium flame covering with a lid.
  5. Flip it over, cook for one minute.Remove the dosa into a plate and serve it hot with chilli chutney.
