Palak paneer is one of the popular sabzi in indian restaurant.Spinach are the source of many nutrients,Palak paneer is made with spinach greavy with some indian spices.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 bowl palak puree
  2. 200gm paneer(cottage cheese)
  3. 1 tbsp fresh cream
  4. 1/2 tbsp jeera powder
  5. 1/2 tbsp coriander powder
  6. Salt as per taste
  7. 1 onion(sliced/chopped)
  8. 1 tomoto(chopped)
  9. 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  10. 1 green chilli
  11. Small piece of gingar
  12. 2 tbsp butter
  13. 4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Rinse palak leaves very well in running water.
  2. Boil 3 cup of water in a pan add pinch of salt and sugar in hot water,than add palak leaves in hot water let the palak leaves set in the water for 2 minutes
  3. After 2 minute switch of the flame strain the palak leaves.
  4. Immediately add palak leaves in a pan and add cold water.this method help to preserving green colour off the spinach.
  5. Now drain the water add spinach in a mixture jar and blend it well make a smooth palak purée.
  6. Heat a pan/kadai add butter let it melt.Add onion,tomato ginger garlic paste,ginger piece saute it for 2-3 minutes.
  7. After 3 minutes turn off the flame let mixture cool down for 5 minutes than add the mixture in a mixture jar and make a paste.
  8. Now heat a pan add butter and let it melt.Add onion, ginger garlic,tomato paste mixture saute for a minute now add coriander powder,jeera powder salt mix it well let it cook.
  9. Once mixture cook well add palak puree,paneer cubes and fresh cream mix well let it cook for a 5 minutes.
  10. Once gravy cook well turn off the flame
  11. Palak paneer is ready to serve.
  12. Serve hot with roti,paratha or naan.
