Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Fresh Spinach 300grams
  2. Green Chilies 4
  3. Ginger 1 inch
  4. Tomato 1
  5. Garlic cloves 5
  6. Water 4 cups for blanching spinach
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Red Chili powder 1/2 teaspoon
  9. 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  10. Paneer 250 grams
  11. 2 tbsp Fresh cream & 1 tbsp fried Onions for garnishing
  12. Turmeric 1/2 teaspoon
  13. Onion 1
  14. Bay leaf 1
  15. Garam Masala 1 tsp
  16. Water 1/2 cup
  17. Oil / Butter 2 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. Boil 4 cups water and add Spinach. Cover and leave it for 2-3 mins . Drain excess water
  2. Blend spinach with green chilies, ginger, garlic to make puree . keep aside
  3. Heat oil in a pan, splutter cumin seeds , add bay leaf and chopped onions, saute till the onions are translucent
  4. Add in chopped Tomato, turmeric, salt and saute for 3 mins
  5. Add spinach puree, mix well. Add water and cook on low heat for 6-7 minutes
  6. Add paneer cubes. Stir gently and cook on low flame till paneer cubes becomes soft about 3-4mins
  7. Add Garam masala powder, stir well. Finally add fresh cream, stir gently and switch off
  8. Garnish with fresh cream and Fried onions
