Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1/2 cup Moong Dal
  2. 1/2 cup broken rice
  3. 7-8 spinach leaves chopped
  4. 1 green chili chopped
  5. 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
  6. Salt to taste
  7. 1 tbsp Ghee
  8. 1/2 tbsp jeera

Instructions

  1. Soak Dal and rice for 10 minutes. Wash ,drain and keep aside
  2. Heat ghee in pressure cooker, add jeera and chopped chilies
  3. Add spinach, soaked Dal and rice, turmeric powder, salt and 2 glasses of water
  4. Pressure cook for 2 whistles. Allow to cool
  5. Serve warm with a dollop of desi ghee
