ABOUT Palak Alu RECIPE

Made of spinach n potatoes ,very lightly sauteed with spices .Goes well with phulkas n paranthas.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2kg - spinach chopped
  2. 2 potatoes cubed
  3. salt to taste
  4. 1/2 tsp- haldi
  5. 1/2 tsp -red chili powder
  6. 1/2 tsp - coriander powder
  7. 1 tsp - mustard oil

Instructions

  1. Heat mustard oil on high heat. Add potatoes and spinach. Mix well
  2. Saute on high for 5 minutes. Add all spice powders and mix well
  3. Cook on low heat till potatoes are done. Check for seasoning. Switch off
  4. Serve hot with phulkas, rice
