ABOUT Easy Kadhi RECIPE

Kadhi is an indian dish. Its a blend of buttermilk & besan with a flavour of ginger garlic. Good for digestion and a good source of calcium.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. oil 2 tbsp
  2. buttermilk 1/2 ltr
  3. curd 2 tbsp
  4. gram flour 2 tsp
  5. hing a pinch
  6. cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  7. mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  8. methi seeds 1/4 tsp
  9. Dried red chili 2
  10. curry leaves 7-8
  11. ginger garlic green chili crushed 1 tbsp
  12. turmeric Powder 3/4 tsp
  13. salt to taste
  14. water as required
  15. 3 tbsp coriander leaves for garnishing

Instructions

  1. WHISK BUTTERMILK & 2 TSP BESAN TILL SMOOTH
  2. MIX IN 2 TBSP CURD
  3. ADD SALT, 3/4 TSP TURMERIC AND WHISK WELL
  4. HEAT 2 TBSP IL IN A PAN, ADD 1/4 TSP HING AND MIX
  5. ADD 1/2 TSP EACH OF CUMIN SEEDS , MUSTARD SEEDS, 1/4 TSP FENUGREEK SEEDS
  6. ADD 2 DRY RED CHILIES, FEW CURRY LEAVES, 1 TBSP CRUSHED GINGER- GARLIC-GREEN CHILI
  7. ADD 3/4 TSP TURMERIC , SALT AND MIX WELL
  8. ADD THE BUTTERMILK- BESAN MIXTURE, STIR BRISKLY
  9. ADD 1-2 CUPS WATER, COOK FOR 4-5 MINS
  10. SERVE HOT
