Methi Matar Paneer

Ingredients to make Methi Matar Paneer

  • methi leaves saag 1 cup
  • Malai paneer 1 cup
  • curd 1/2 cup
  • cream 4 tsp
  • Kasuri methi 1 tsp
  • tomato puree 1/2 cup
  • peas 1/2 cup
  • ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  • onion slices 1 cup
  • turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • Garam masala 1 tsp
  • oil 3 tbsp

How to make Methi Matar Paneer

  1. Wash and blanch methi leaves.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, shallow fry paneer and keep it aside. In same pan, add ginger garlic paste and saute for 2 minutes. Add onions with kasuri methi and mix
  3. Saute until onions are translucent. Add turmeric and salt. Mix well. Now add chopped tomatoes. Cook over low flame until tomatoes are mushy
  4. Add curd and methi leaves. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Add garam masala and mix well
  5. Now add paneer cubes to the gravy. Add adequate water and mix. Simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes
  6. Add cream and mix. Serve hot with roti or rice
