Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Seer Fish - 300 grams
  2. potato - 1 boiled , peeled and mashed
  3. egg white - 1
  4. salt
  5. olive oil or coconut oil - 2 tbsp for shallow frying
  6. bread crumbs - 1/2 cup
  7. Crushed ginger & garlic - 1 tbsp
  8. cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
  9. green chillies deseeded chopped finely - 2
  10. onion chopped finely - 1
  11. pepper powder - 1 tsp
  12. garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp


  1. boil the fish with garlic-ginger paste, 1/2 tsp chilli powder (optional ) and curry leaves.
  2. remove the bones and the skin from the fish. mince it nicely.
  3. take a kadai, add 1 tsp of oil and saute the onions until translucent.
  4. take minced fish, green chillies, pepper powder, mashed potatoes, cumin powder, garam masala powder, sauteed onions and salt. mix well.
  5. make it into small balls and level it up using your hands
  6. dip them in egg white and then roll it in breadcrumbs until every sides are covered.
  7. heat oil in tawa pan and shallow fry the cutlets until its golden brown on both the sides.
