Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1/2 cup moong daal
  2. 1/2cup rice
  3. 1tsp cumin seeds
  4. Oil/ghee 2tsp
  5. Potato 1
  6. Green peas 1/2cup
  7. Capsicum 1
  8. Cauliflower 1/2cup
  9. Green chilli 2
  10. Coriander leaves little
  11. Asafoetida a pinch
  12. Turmeric powder 1/2tsp
  13. Ginger garlic crushed 1tsp

Instructions

  1. Chop all vegetables after washing
  2. Wash daal and rice nicely
  3. Heat ghee/oil in a cooker crackle cumin seeds add crushed ginger garlic saute a little.add asafoetida
  4. Add chopped vegetables in it
  5. Add salt and turmeric powder.add daal and rice in it.add water in it(about 2-21/2 times more water then daal and rice.
  6. Close the lid of cooker and take 2 whistles.
  7. Enjoy with lemon pickle.
