My mom always make churi in winters. We kids always demand churi whenever we didn't like to eat sabji. Roti churi is all punjabi's favorite. Thus is full of nutritions & healthy.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 10 Fresh Roti
  2. 1/2 cup grated jaggery (gur)
  3. 2 tbsp white til [sesame seeds]
  4. 2 tsp poppy seeds (Khuskhus)
  5. 4 tbsp ghee
  6. Chopped dry fruits [handful]


  1. Roast til & Khuskhus separately one by one on Tawa.
  2. Break roti in small pieces. Grind Roti & til in mixing jar.
  3. Transfer into a bowl. Add grated jaggery, Roasted Khuskhus & Dry fruits.
  4. Mix all. Heat ghee. Add melted warm ghee in churi. Mix all properly.
  5. Serve hot.
