Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 pav / 4 bread slices
  2. 1 /2 cup besan (gram flour)
  3. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  4. 1 /4 baking soda
  5. 2 tsp oil
  6. 1 /4 tsp ajwain
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Oil for shallow fry
  9. Chopped coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. Add besan, salt, red chilli powder, baking soda, oil, ajwain & water in a bowl. Mix properly. Make thick batter as we make for chilla.
  2. Cut pav in halves from center. Dip in batter. From both sides.
  3. Place it on pre heated pan or Tawa. Drizzle some oil or butter. Roast it on both sides until golden brown on slow flame.
  4. Serve hot with tomato sauce.
