ABOUT Oats and jaggery pancake RECIPE

Its a yummy and healthy dish for pregnant women. The pancake is made up of powdered oats. Oats supply energy to your body, it also contains various vitamins, minerals and other nutrients which are required during pregnany and helps in the growth and development of the foetus and it also helps in digestion. Jaggery also has many important uses during pregnancy such as ot prevents anemia, helps digestion, reduces joint pain, purifies blood, regulates blood pressure. Thus this is a perfect combination for expectant mothers to fulfill their sweet cravings as well as having a healthy meal.

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. For pancake, Powdered oats - 1/2 cup
  2. Water - 1/2 cup
  3. Sugar - 2 teaspoon
  4. Baking powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  5. Salt - a pinch
  6. Cinammon - a pinch
  7. For jaggery syrup
  8. Jaggery shreded- 1/2 cup
  9. Water - 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. Add powdered oats, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinammon in a bowl.
  2. Add water to it. And mix it.
  3. Shred jaggery so it melts easily.
  4. Boil jaggery and water till it melts.
  5. Off flame and pour in bowl.
  6. Pour oil(optional). And then pour oats batter on pan
  7. Flip the pancake once bubbles appear on top.
  8. Serve with jaggery sauce.
