this is one of the best breakfast can be made in minutes,and healthy for people of old age and expecting mothers my ,this is favorite breakfast of my father in law so would love to share this recipe

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. semolina 1&1/2 cup
  2. ghee 2tsp
  3. boiled green peas 1tbsp
  4. 1tsp chopped cashewnuts nuts
  5. 1tsp cummin seeds
  6. 1tsp mustard seeds
  7. 1tsp urad dal
  8. 4-5 curry leaves
  9. 1crushed green chili
  10. 1finely chopped onion
  11. 1deseeded tomatoe and chopped
  12. boiling water 1/2 glass
  13. salt to taste
  14. 1tbsp peanuts
  15. 1tbsp chopped corriander leaves
  16. For chutney----
  17. fresh grated coconut 1/2 cup
  18. roasted horse gram dal/daliya 1/2 cup
  19. salt to taste
  20. water to grind
  21. 1green chilly

Instructions

  1. In a pan add ghee
  2. add cummin seeds
  3. add mustard seeds
  4. add peanuts
  5. add curry leaves
  6. add green chili
  7. add onions
  8. add semolina and roast till golden color
  9. it will take 5-7 minutes
  10. add boiling water
  11. and keep stirring
  12. as it absorbs water add green peas
  13. add tomato
  14. add salt to taste
  15. add corriander leaves
  16. to get shape apply ghee inside the bowl
  17. add hot upma and press with spoon
  18. flip in serving plate
  19. process of coconut chutney---
  20. in mixer grinder add coconut
  21. add green chili
  22. add salt
  23. add water to get desired consistency
  24. grind it and serve with upma
