Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 150 gram soft khoya
  2. 50 gram soft paneer
  3. 2 tbsp all purpose flour
  4. 2 tbsp semolina paste
  5. 1/4 tsp crush green cardamom
  6. 1 tsp sugar
  7. Ingredients for sugar syrup
  8. 230 gram sugar
  9. Water as required
  10. Pinch of Kesar
  11. pinch of crush green cardamom
  12. 1/4 tsp rose water


  1. In a pan add sugar and water it to simmer tii the solution becomes stick now add kesar,cardamom powder and rose water mix well
  2. In a bowl add semolina and warm milk and mix well and soak 1/2 hours
  3. In mixture grinder add semolina mix and crush it
  4. In bowl add khoya, paneer, all purpose flour, semolina paste, sugar and crush green cardamom mix well use your hand to rub the mixture and knead well til smooth and soft make round balls
  5. Heat oil in pan add balls keep the flame to a low and fry this balls till it became black
  6. whilst they are hot quickly add them to the sugar syrup
  7. kala jamun to soak in the sugar syrup 2 hours
  8. For garnish
  9. gold dust
  10. chopped nuts
