Cranberry Tea Cake

Ingredients to make Cranberry Tea Cake

  • Refine flour or Maida- 1 1/2 cup
  • Baking powder - 1 tsp
  • egg - 2
  • Soft butter- 3 tbsp
  • White oil - 3 tbsp
  • Powder sugar- 1 cup
  • Cranberry- 1 /2 cup fresh or Dry
  • Vanilla essence- 1 tsp
  • Milk - 1 /3 cup or as required for making batter

How to make Cranberry Tea Cake

  1. Pre heat oven on 180 c for 10 minutes. 
  2. Prepare cake loaf tin with parchment or butter paper  .Brush cake tin with little oil..
  3. Now take a mixing bowl,add soft butter and sugar ..whisk till fluffy..
  4. Then add eggs (once at a time) ,and whisk well..       Then add oil and vanilla essence and whisk till creamy and smooth..
  5. Then add dry ingredients flour,baking powder (pass through the sieve).
  6. Mix dry ingredients with wet ingredients with spatula
  7. Add milk as required for making a semi thick batter .
  8. Now add cranberry and mix well with batter..
  9. Now pour this cake batter into the prepare cake tin.
  10. Tap gently filled cake tin twice on kitchen table ..
  11. Now put the cake tin into the pre heated  oven. Bake it on 180 c for 40 - 45 minutes..
  12. After 40 minutes insert a toothpick or knife into the cake tin,if it comes out clean means its done or if not then bake it for few more mints...
