ABOUT Shaami and Nargisi kebabs RECIPE

These yumm kebabs will lure any vegetarian and make them feel great.Secret ingredient here is Yam /suran as its called replacing the mutton kheema ,making succullent shaami kebabs.Also a twist is making Nargisi kofta or Nargisi kebab ,done with egg in centre ,with same dough.Try theyre awesome !:thumbsup:

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 250 grams Yam/Suran
  2. 1/2cup green peas frozen
  3. 2 tblspn rice flour
  4. 1 Onion Fine chopped
  5. 2tblspoon bread crumbs
  6. Salt to taste
  7. 1 tspn Chaat Masala
  8. 1tspn cummin powder
  9. 1-2 green chillies as per choice
  10. Small cup corrianer leaves
  11. 1 tspn Ginger Garlic paste
  12. Oil to deep fry
  13. 1 egg boiled
  14. Some amul cheese grated optional

Instructions

  1. Clean wash and cut Yam with greased hands as it's itchy.,I used market cut
  2. Collect all ingredients
  3. Boil Suran and green peas with pinch of salt
  4. Strain cool the Suran and peas
  5. OAdd the Dry spices,onions,rice flour and green chillies with corriander the boiled yam peas
  6. Grind all to a paste ,fine
  7. Grease hands with oil ,collect ground dough
  8. Make portions with greased hands forming kebabs ,keep on bread crumbs
  9. Form kebabs keep in fridge till you need to use
  10. Now boil one egg and cool ,peel keep aside
  11. Keep 3 kebabs mix aside without frying
  12. Now cut four quarter pieces of egg
  13. Now keep a fry pan with 2 tblspn oil to heat
  14. Shallow fry the ready kebabs with care ,as they're soft
  15. These are your shaamil kebabs
  16. Now take the 3 raw kebabs mix,,to make Nargisi kebabs
  17. Grease palm take kebab mix on palm ,press centre and keep one egg quarter piece on it
  18. Close with some more mix of kebab
  19. Form these oblong Nargisi Kebabs
  20. Now heat oil to deep fry these Nargisi kebabs Golden
  21. Your platter of Yam Shaami kebabs and Nargisi Kebabs is ready to enjoy
  22. Serve with Cheesy ketchup and Or Tango chilli sauce
