Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For-twisted mathari---maida-60gm
  2. Oil to fry
  3. Salt-1tsp
  4. Ajwain-1/2tsp
  5. For pinwheels maida-60 gm
  6. Yeast dry-1/2tsp
  7. Sugar-1/2tsp
  8. Chilly flakes-1tsp
  9. Tomato puree-1/2tsp
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Warm milk-1/2cup
  12. Soya sauce
  13. Beetroot grated-1/2 cup
  14. Oil -1tsp
  15. Dip- mayonnaise cheese -4 tsp
  16. Garlic minced1/2
  17. Salt to taste
  18. Oilve oil-1/2


  1. For twisted mathri take maida add salt,ajwain,salt,1tsp oil and add warm water to kneed dough...leave it for 10 minutes.
  2. Now take the dough and roll it to thin sheet and cut them in rectangular shapes.. cut the edges with fork allaround and mark long cuts inside...
  3. Roll it , join the edges and fold around twist as shown in picture and deep fry till golden fry.
  4. For pinwheels add yeast and sugar in warm milk and keep aside for 15 minutes till frothy. Now take maida beetroot and add yeast mixture to make a sticky dough...wrap this dough for 1 hr with damp cloth....
  5. Now add oil to pan..add green chilly, garlic ,ginger, beetroot tomato saute well.add chilly flakes.origano, salt,tomato puree.soya sauce,add lil water to give it cremy texture.
  6. Now roll out the dough in circle add beetroot sauce ,sprinkle cheese and roll it
  7. Cut this dough into thin pieces and bake on 200 c preheated oven ...for 15-17 minutes...
  8. For dip add origano minced garlic salt to mayonnaise...
