It's very easy and healthy Gujarati breakfast.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup chickpeas flour
  2. 1/4 cup Semolina
  3. 1 tsp Salt
  4. Pinch of turmeric powder
  5. 1 pack Eno salt
  6. Tempering:
  7. 1 tbsp oil
  8. 1 tsp mustered seeds
  9. 4-5 Curry Leaves
  10. Grated coconut and coriander leaves for garnishing


  1. In a medium sized bowl, add all ingredients except water and Eno salt and mix it well.
  2. Now gradually add water and whisk it well.
  3. Once steamer is hot, add Eno salt into batter and pour it into oil greased plate and steam it for 8-10 mins.
  4. Temper it using ingredient mentioned into 'Tempering' and let it be cooled at room temperature.
  5. Serve it on your breakfast!
