Very very tasty nimbu achar prepared with pickle lemon

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 1 tbsp oil
  2. 1 cup pickle lemon
  3. 1 1/2 cup organic sugar
  4. 1/3 cup water
  5. Salt as required
  6. 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  7. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  8. 2 tbsp pickle masala
  9. 1/2 tsp asafoetida
  10. 1/4 tsp cumin powder


  1. Take big size lemon and wash them and dry it up with a cloth cut the lemon small pieces and remove the seeds
  2. In a bowl take the cut lemon pieces add some salt and turmeric powder mix well and keep it a side for one month everyday stir it ( first 3 days keep a sunlight)
  3. In a bowl add pickle lemon, sugar, water, salt turmeric powder, red chilli powder pickle masala and asafoetida mix well
  4. In a pan add oil and immediately add lemon mixture in a slow flame one bowling and flame off
  5. At last add some pickle masala and cumin powder mix well
