Ingredients to make Rawa Upma

  • 1 cup roasted semolina (rawa)
  • 2&1/2 cup water
  • 1 roughly chopped onion
  • 1 sprig curry leaves
  • 2 green chilies cut into small pieces
  • 1 tablespoon peanuts
  • 5 nos chopped cashews
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • salt as required
  • 2 tablespoons roughly chopped coriander leaves
  • 3 tablespoons cooking oil

How to make Rawa Upma

  1. Heat oil in wok and splutter cumin seeds n mustard seeds.
  2. Add curry leaves, onion, cashews, peanuts n green chilies let it cook till onion get transculent.
  3. Add semolina, salt n water mix it well and keep sauteing n mix coriander leaves.
  4. Serve in plate n garnish mint leave n serve hot with your fav chutney, sauce or lemon.
