Here are the samosa with fried potato masala. Try these samosa and enjoy with hot tea.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. For the dough..
  2. 1 cup maida
  3. 1/2 tea spoon salt
  4. 3 table spoon oil for moyan
  5. Lukewarm water to knead the dough
  6. For stuffing....
  7. 5 medium sized potato ( boiled)
  8. 1 large onion chopped finely
  9. 2 table spoon oil
  10. 1/2 tea spoon jeera
  11. 1/2 tea spoon mustard seed
  12. 1 tea spoon salt
  13. 1/8 tea spoon haldi
  14. 1 tea spoon red chilli powder
  15. 1/4 tea spoon hing
  16. 1/2 tea spoon lemon juice


  1. In a bowl mix maida, salt and oil.
  2. Now knead the dough using lukewarm water.
  3. Cover the dough and Keep it aside.
  4. Now how to prepare the stuffing.....
  5. Take a kadai.
  6. Heat oil In it.
  7. Add jeera, mustard seed, hing in it.
  8. Now add chopped onion in it and fry for two minutes.
  9. Add all spices, lemon juice and meshed potato in it . Mix well and off the gas.
  10. Let it cool completely.
  11. Now ready to make samosa
  12. Make 6 equal balls from the dough.( u can make more or less balls. It depends on the size of samosa u want to make )
  13. Roll each of them thin and cut into two parts.
  14. Now take a part. Fill the stuffing in it and pack it fine. With the help of water.
  15. Make each of them like this.
  16. Now heat some oil in a kadai and fry each samosa in medium hot oil.
  17. Serve hot.

It can be served with green chutney or tomato ketchup.
