ABOUT Atte ka halwa (Karah Parshad) RECIPE

This is the traditional prashad, served in Gurudwara. A delicious halwa made with ghee and wheat flour.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup wheat flour
  2. 1 cup sugar
  3. 1 cup desi ghee.
  4. 4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee in a heavy bottomed wok, add the wheat flour. roast on a low to medium flame for few minutes.
  2. When the flour has roasted enough, add the sugar.
  3. Add water and stir well.
  4. When it thickens its done.
